  • Role-players of all experiences are welcomed, especially beginner role-players who we encourage to join in on day-to-day happenings! Non-roleplayers are also welcome as long as respect for the staff, patrons, and venue are observed.

  • Regarding all guests, please use /em and " " for in character posts, and parenthesis or brackets ) ] for out of character posts, as well as leaving /yell and /shout to the staff/hosts.

  • All patrons are expected to be polite, respectful, and mindful of the staff and fellow patrons, both in and out of character.

  • You aren't obliged to buy anything to sit at the venue or to use it for a meeting spot, but we will offer a menu. Purchases will grant an in-game food item of varying quality on hand.

  • Weapons must be either sheathed or stowed away. Minions must be dismissed [unless it is for roleplay purposes.]

"Crystal Reflections" / [Blackjack]

➢ Have a total card number higher than the dealers', without exceeding 21.Bets is 20k - 125k per hand.Card Values:
➢ 2 - 10 are their respective values. 11, 12, 13 are all worth 10.
➢ Aces are either 1 or 11, dependent on player's choice.
Player options:
Hit: Dealer deals one (1) card to the player's total.
Stand: Player keeps the cards dealt with no additional bets or cards.
Double Down: Only done on player's first turn, player can double their initial bet to receive one additional card only. After the additional card, they automatically stand.
Split: If the player's first two cards have the same value, they may choose to split them into two separate hands. Player must place an additional bet equal to the initial amount. The two hands are played individually.
Splitting rules:
Aces: When splitting Aces, the cards may be split but only once. If a 10-valued card is dealt on either Ace, it is considered a regular/dirty 21 and not a natural Blackjack.
Amount: Please split only once for the dealer's sake. [OOC: They do most of the maths/bets by hand]
Dealer's Turn:
➢ Once all players have completed their turns, the Dealer hits until they have a total of 17 or higher then must stand. They will hit on Soft 16 and stand on Soft 17. (A hand that contains an Ace is considered an 11.)
Winning Payouts:
➢ If the player's hand total exceeds 21, their bet is considered Bust and lost.
+ If player's hand total is greater than the Dealer's hand total without going Bust, the player receives a 2x payout.
+ If the dealer's hand total exceeds 21, they Bust, and all remaining players win their bets.
+ If both player and dealer have the same hand total, it's considered a Push; the player's bet is moved onto the next round.
+ If the player's initial hand consists of an Ace and a 10-valued card (10, 11, 12, 13), it is considered a Nat Blackjack, and the player will receive a 2.5x payout, unless the dealer also has a natural Blackjack.
